Finals: Day Two

Halfway home, and stressed enough. Tomorrow is Spanish, and I’m not looking forward to it. Can’t write much, but all I can say is that Spanish is the last of many, and I can’t wait ’till it’s over.

FINALS: Day 1

Okay, so finals started today. Just to fill you in, I had two exams today (Langage arts and Math) and I’ll have two more tomorrow (History and Science)  and one on Thursday (Spanish). 90 minutes per exam, essays on every exam but math. So I guess you could say they’re pretty hard.

As afore mentioned, I had my language arts and math exams today. So, I’m pretty sure I did *okay* on my English exam, but math was just crazy. First of all, the instructor made it extremely long and she knew that no one would finish, but she made it long anyway. Then I forgot a formula that bugged me to death; I almost found a way to find the formulas on my calculator, but I didn’t have the heart to even try: I’d pulled a blank.  And it’s only day one.

This week is gonna be ultra random b/c of my homework and extracurricular status. Sorry. This kid is soooo random.

1,020 Songs for my Vacation

In my past blogs, I’ve mentioned how I’m one of the only people in my school not going anywhere for spring break. My best friend, Abby, is currently in Costa Rica, enjoying the beautiful palm trees and exercising her awesome Spanish skills (she’s too good at Spanish. I’ve been taking the language for 3 years, and I barely know how to say “Cómo Esta”.) While another friend, Vasquez, just got back from Florida, where I used to live. I miss the ocean breeze and the mist of the saltwater.

For me, I don’t need a vacation. I watched this movie where this guy went all over the world for a vacation, spent $20,000, and was über  depressed when he got back. That’s not gonna be me. I can be happy in my own environment if I really try. All I need is music.

Yes, I’m a major nazi when it comes to music- ask my vacationing friends. I judge music, write music, learn music, play music, the whole shebang. I’ve spent my spring break playing video games like rock band, getting in touch with my ’90’s Grudge’ side. To get something out in the open, I love Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Kanye West, The Orion Experience, John Legend, Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Vampire Weekend, Alicia Keys, Quincy Jones, Yael Naïm, and many other artists. Yep, I get around. With over 1,000 songs on my iPod, each song takes me to a place where I can imagine my perfect getaway. That’s enough for me.
