Teachers

September 2, 2008 · 1 Comment

So, school is just starting, and my classes are pretty darn awesome. You might be wondering what my classes are, since I spend practically all of my time on the computer and the rest of my time studying. Well, I’m taking world literature, world history, advanced geometry, introduction to chemistry and physics, latin, band, “digital images, text, and sounds”. All of my teachers are kind of, well, kind of crazy, but it’s okay, because they’re that great kind of crazy that keeps you entertained and keeps you from falling asleep in the middle of class. My ICP teacher is really cool, but an organization FREAK, which may mean trouble in the near future. My geometry teach is loved by everyone, including myself. I mean, I know I’m bad at math, but seriously, she’s the best. My Latin teach is pretty much a bonafide superstar, since she’s written so many books and stuff. If I accomplish half as much as she has in her life, well, I’ll have lived a happy life. My World Lit teacher/adviser is the craziest of them all; she’ll probably be the focus of an upcoming “Crazier than Me” segment, which’ll be really fun. My world history teacher seems nice enough, but seems kind of, um, strict. She’s really short (shorter than my sister), but seems okay. My digitextsounds teach is my only male teacher, and he seems kinda bored with his life, but he’s making it last while he can, which is nice. He’s also a geogami nerd, which is refreshing, because I thought I was the only one :) And, as usual, band is band; extremely fun!

So, just so i can see what my readers are thinking, how was your first day of school? Were your teachers crazier than mine? Dare you to tell me in a comment :) Peace

CRAZIER THAN ME: Rick Astley

August 2, 2008 · 1 Comment

Oh, yes. the guy with the velvety voice, who found a way to make the cheezy love song, “Never Gonna Give You Up” the gift that keeps on giving, even today. Not many people sound quite as unique as Astley, or quite as surprising. I mean, how shocked were you at the beginning of the video for NGGYU? It was so strange! Astley cut his last album in 2005, the compilation disk called Portrait. In the unconventional sense of the word, Rick Astley is definitely crazier than me.

CRAZIER THAN ME: Gary Busey

July 5, 2008 · 1 Comment

First of all, lately the guy’s been saying that random things were “dyslexic”. I refuse to believe the man knows what dyslexia is. It’s kinda like when someone tells you a really long or complicated word, and you presume the meaning, but really you start using the word without realizing the person who told you the word had no idea what the word meant anyway. But dyslexia? Seriously, Busey? You couldn’t find the time to go to Wikipedia and get a lax definition of the learning disorder? I mean, I can see how he couldn’t find the time between all the paparazzi and movie roles, but really? Dyslexia?! He’s using it in the same way someone would say the word ‘retarded’, which is wrong in itself. Second of all, the man is downright scary. I mean, let’s be honest; there’s Leona Helmsley, Michael Jackson, and Gary Busey all in that same Halloween mode. Gary Busey is definitely crazier than me.

CRAZIER THAN ME: Celebrities who REFUSE to pay Taxes

June 27, 2008 · 2 Comments

Lately, more and more celebs have been taking a page out of the Helmsley book by not paying their taxes. Case in point, Wesley Snipes, aka Blade, who apparently owes millions of dollars to the feds in taxes. The man has been in all three of those garbage Blade movies, which probably made a fortune together. The has a billion dollar resume, and refuses to pay taxes! He’s not the only one though; a few years ago, the first Survivor champ, Richard Hatch, was busted for not paying his taxes. Isn’t that the first thing you think about when you win something/anything? Now, I get it; taxes are boring and stressful and everything wrong with the world, but THEY’RE NOT OPTIONAL. If anything, taxes are way easier for them- pay someone to do your taxes! Celebs who don’t pay taxes are crazier than me.

Comic Relief

April 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

So, this blog has gotten just about two times as many views as my youtube page, which is really awesometabulous. Recently, on one of many 5 awesome channels, there was a contest 4 worst songs ever. I LOVED THIS. HERE’S MY LIST.

“Beat It” Fall Out Boy feat. John Mayer- I’m sorry, but it’s just wrong. The only reason they made this song was because they were too lazy to write lyrics themselves, and so they phoned a great guitarist (J. Mayer), and just did a Michael-Jackson-Already-perfected cover. There are only three reasons people listen to FOB: their melodies, Pete Wentz, and their preppy popularity. THAT’S IT! However, John Mayer was great.

“Before He Cheats” Carrie Underwood- I think this song became so popular, so fast, that people didn’t actually realize how crazy the song is. It’s COOCOOBANANAS!!! If a guy released this song, not only would he be in jail, but he’d also never get a date again (sorry, Joe!)

“Ticks” Brad Paisley- EWW. EWW. EWW. Does he think that’s attractive? I’d like to hear some girl say, “I’d like you to check me for ticks!” Totally repulsive.

“Fergalicious” Fergie- WHAT IS THE POINT, FERGIE? Okay, I am a Fergie-hater, but with good reason- she’s crazy inappropriate, and isn’t really setting a great example for the kids (unlike Trick Daddy.) Um, Fergie, talk about vanity.

“See You Again” Miley Cyrus- First of all, I’m tired of Disney’s blatant child exploitation. Second of all, this song is not only a rip-off of “Sunglasses at Night” by Corey Hart, but it’s also pretty immature, along with all other “Miley-Cyrus-Hannah-Montana-any-other-personalities-no-one-even-knows-about” songs. I’m tired of it. I’ll give the 10 and under, no musical perspective population a break, but if you’re older, listen to a little bit of jazz or something. Just, really, America. Get it together.

Whoop, there it is.

Crazier Than Me: Bret Michaels

April 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Since I’ve been so behind on blogging, I decided to choose someone that was extra crazy to make up for it. One of the main reasons for Bret’s craziness is that he always goes for girls 40 years youngeer than he is; he’s 45 years old! What made me mad was seeing the trailer for the next episode, where he’s mad at Ambre for being 38 or 35 or something like that- keep in mind, HE’S 45!!!! TALK ABOUT BEING CRAZIER THAN ME!

Crazier than Me: Michael Jackson

March 27, 2008 · 22 Comments

This was an obvious one. Michael’s winning the poll (that no one is voting for), and he really has gone crazy. He’s recently lost his Neverland ranch, and has had his reputation slaughtered by child molestation charges. Michael’s really gone over the edge lately, however, I do encourage people to listen to his music. Why? Because they’re still classics, no matter how crazy he gets.

UPDATE: I guess he didn’t lose his ranch, but I don’t even know anymore. He’s turning 50 anyway, which means it’s time for him to stop being a kid and start being an adult, which means buying a sensible home, in my opinion.

Maybe I’m Nocturnal

March 26, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I have a horrible sleep schedule. I spend all night watching television, on Adult Swim and MTV most of the time, and I get to bed around 3 to 5 AM, which is just about when my grandpa wakes up. Then, I sleep from 8 to 12 hours, waking up in the afternoon. Is that not positively insane? It’s like I go into a sleep coma, where nothing can wake me up. It’s crazy! I am a total technology addict.

As an Ohio native, I think it’s safe to say that we’ve always had crazier than crazy commercials! They’re positively insane! Ohio commercials are unquestionably crazier than me! And to prove it, I have a crazy Ohio Lotto commercial from the 80’s posted below. Enjoy the INSANITY!!!!
